Scott Ireland
Born in Sydney in 1965, Scott studied landscape painting with his father well known Sydney artist Howard Ireland.
Scott's work quickly gained in popularity being noted for his crisp and vibrant colours. Scott uses both the brush and palette knife to achieve his style, painting with a wet-on-wet technique called "alla prima".
His work is based on a combination of romantic impression styles, with his modern twist, which appeals to a wide base of art lovers. His work stirs moods and emotions and captures those special memories and places visited. His Sydney and Coastal work is particularly sort after.
Scott has held numerous one-man and group exhibitions and his work hangs all over the world. Scott's work is a sound investment. Moulton Galleries have been selling original oil paintings for over 30 years.
