Diana Watson
Diana Watson once again treats us to a visual feast of elegant still-life paintings. Diana's rich palette and highly glazed work give a jewel like quality evoking a sense of romance and abundant "joie de vie' reminiscent of the early masters. Appropriately named Aventine (after one of the Seven Hills in Rome) this body of work presents a timeless and classic style which has made Diana Watson one of Australia's poPular still life artists. Diana Watson began her career in the 1960's under the guidance of Robert Juniper in Perth, WA. Numerous exhibitions in Australia and the USA have coloured her career with work held in corporate and private collections in the United Kingdom, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand and throughout Australia and the USA
