About the Artist
Born in Sydney in1962, Daniel spent his childhood in various towns in rural New South Wales before moving to Forster in 1973. It was in Forster that he developed his love for the sea and was fortunate to be able to spend his teenage years surfing and exploring the beautiful beaches of the NSW north coast.
Daniel spent some years in Sydney’s southern suburbs before moving to his St Ives studio where he lives with his wife and two daughters and practises art fulltime.
Daniel travels to Broome in Western Australia each year for inspiration. His new works depicting the landscapes of the Kimberley region and Ningaloo Reef are highly sought after by art collectors from all over the globe.
